(WUSA) From the socks to the jerseys to the accent Bethesda has been invaded with Red Sox.While the pros are at Camden Yards taking on the Orioles, these youngsters are spending a week learning the game pitch by pitch, swing by swingCamp participant Tommy Swad says, "Awesome! Lots of baseball. It's been a lot of fun!"This is the first year the Red Sox summer camp is being held outside the state of Massachusetts, and it is completely sold out.Executive director Brendan Sullivan says he's not surprised at the immediate success: "All you need to do is go to Camden Yards or last year at Nat's park to how many red sox faithful there are."Brendan says some kids showed up with a Zimmerman t shirt on and a Jeter jersey on but gladly traded it in for a Red Sox uniform.
